What is Liberty Biomass of Philadelphia?
Liberty Biomass of Philadelphia, Inc. (LBP) is a Pennsylvania-based minority-owned Renewable/Alternative Energy Development Corporation. Its goal is to develop projects implementing an energy production system that converts biomass into electricity.
Who is Liberty Biomass?
LBP is a corporation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, established by its Founder & CEO, Mr. Henry L. Nesmith. The company’s development team consists of experienced mechanical, chemical, and electrical engineers, consultants for grant writing, business planning, economic development, accountants, attorneys, and political supporters.
What do we do?
LBP uses GREEN ENERGY production and Green Education as a core to develop projects that create jobs and revenue streams in communities where citizens have been disenfranchised. LBP proposes to acquire commercial buildings and/or land for the Renewable Energy Institute (REI), and the Systems Plant.
Who is involved with Liberty Biomass?
LBP collaborates and forms joint partnerships with various organizations, businesses, communities, schools, colleges and universities, as well as individuals, community leaders and political supporters.
How can I become involved?
Comprising both for-profit and non-profit business entities, LBP receives funding from a variety of sources to include; individuals, grants, foundations, organizations and businesses. Your contributions will help us provide ‘green’ services to children, families and communities throughout the nation and around the world. Sponsorship and investment opportunities are also available in our fund raising ventures.
